Ubbe Eert "Ub" Iwerks, was an American animator, cartoonist, character designer, inventor, and special effects technician, who created Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The works Iwerks produced alongside Disney went on to win numerous awards, including multiple Academy Awards.
