Askari, better known as Scar, is the main antagonist of Disney's The Lion King franchise. He is Mufasa's younger brother and arch-rival, and the arch-nemesis of Simba and Kion. The former leader of the Lion Guard, his desire to rule Pride Rock drove him to enact a regicidal plot to kill both his older brother, Mufasa, and nephew, Simba, and usurp the throne.
