Samuel "Sam" Armstrong was an American writer and director.

He was born on February 5, 1893 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. He is known for his work on Dumbo (1941), Bambi (1942) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), and Fantasia (1940) He died on September 29, 1976 in Minneapolis.
