Robin McLaurin Williams was an American actor and comedian, who was well-known for his various film roles, such as portraying Armand Goldman in The Birdcage, Daniel Hillard/Euphegenia Doubtfire in Mrs. Doubtfire, an adult Alan Parrish in Jumanji, Bob Munro in RV, and Theodore Roosevelt in the Night at the Museum film trilogy. He also voiced Batty Koda in 20th Century Fox's FernGully: The Last Rainforest, Fender Pinwheeler in Blue Sky's Robots, and Ramón and Lovelace in Warner Bros.' Happy Feet films.

For Disney, Williams was best known for his voice work as the Genie in the 1992 Disney animated feature film Aladdin, a role of which he had reprised in later projects.
